California's Energy Efficiency Standards
You might of heard architects and Contractors refer to Title 24 when discussing remodeling and new construction. Adopted in 1978 in response to a legislated mandate to reduce California's energy consumption. Since 1978 Title 24 has gone through many updates do to new developments in technology, building methods and Materials. At Osh Electric we are constantly looking forward in ways to help find green solutions to build a better and more energy efficient environment.
1California's building efficiency standards and energy efficient appliances have saved more than $56 billion in electricity and natural gas since 1978. It is estimated the standards will save an additional $23 BILLION BY 2013.
Those are pretty impressive numbers
